M.A.S.S. Impact is the only team representing Canada for Cybathlon 2016 — the first ever international championship for racing pilots with disabilities using advanced robotic assistive devices.
Our mission is to create technology that will allow effortless, dependable and intuitive control of robotic prostheses and to ultimately enhance the quality of life of individuals with upper-extremity amputations.
We need your help, to help others.
Despite the advanced developments, there is an 80% rejection rate of such devices in individuals with upper-limb amputations.
Our goal is to make use of a novel and intuitive control strategy technology to be able to make robotic prosthesis practical for use in everyday life.
